Angel Friends...

Angel Friends

Sometimes friendships can extend beyond this realm into another world. Do you believe in angels? At times I do believe that there are beings sent from heaven to watch over us. It makes me feel more secure. I love hearing stories about angels coming down and telling people what to do or warning them of God's wrath. Instead of those epic stories, I believe that angels whisper in our ears or stop us from crossing the road when danger is ahead. I found Angel Friends started by Rick and Tina who are big believers in angels.
Of course there are earthly human beings that act like angels too. Some of my friends are like that and I'm very fortunate to have them. They are those friends that you can call up 3am in the morning because you're feeling lonely or depressed. They are those friends who will always be there no matter the situation, the weather, or who you are as a person. I feel like those people are also my angel friends too. So here's a couple of cards I found dedicated to these friends.

Chidhood frnds..

Childhood Friendship is Golden

Childhood friends are forever! Examples of such friendships are galore where a childhood friend has forsaken everything for his friend. Such friendships never blossom as we mature and grow old. The friendship that develops between two friends in school or through living in the same locality, often goes on to become everlasting and is never broken by any outside force. I am still in touch with my childhood friend from school and she is like a pillar of support to me. She lives in a different city, but we keep in touch through phone, letter and email. She also makes it a point to come down at my place in holidays or during special occasions. The bond that forms between two childhood friends is unbreakable. Such friendships are intuitive, where one friend understands the mind of the other. Do you have a childhood friend who makes your life worth living? If yes, do share your friendship thoughts with me. Surprise your childhood friend with this warm friendship greeting!

Hey!! Guyzz wishing you all and your family a very HAPPY  DIWALI.... Enjoy this eve but be carefull and play safe... J J
                                     HAPPY  DIWALI

“DIWALI", the festival of lights, illuminates the darkness of the New Year's moon, and strengthens our close FRIENDSHIP and knowledge, with a self-realization!

Diwali is celebrated on a nation-wide scale on Amavasya - the 15th day of the dark fortnight of the Hindu month of Ashwin, (October/November) every year. It symbolizes that age-old culture of India which teaches to vanquish ignorance that subdues humanity and to drive away darkness that engulfs the light of knowledge. Diwali, the festival of lights even to-day in this modern world projects the rich and glorious past of India.
Every year on the dark nights of Diwali the sound of firecrackers announces the celebration of the favorite festival of Indians. Homes are decorated, sweets are distributed by everyone and thousands of lamps are lit to create a world of fantasy. Of all the festivals celebrated in India, Diwali is by far the most glamorous and important. Enthusiastically enjoyed by people of every religion, its magical and radiant touch creates an atmosphere of joy and festivity.
The ancient story of how Diwali evolved into such a widely celebrated festival is different in various regions and states of India. In the north, particularly in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Bihar and the surrounding areas, Diwali is the day when King Rama's coronation was celebrated in Ayodhya after his epic war with Ravana, the demon king of Lanka. By order of the royal families of Ayodhya and Mithila, the kingdom of which Sita was princess, the cities and far-flung boundaries of these kingdoms were lit up with rows of lamps, glittering on dark nights to welcome home the divine king Rama and his queen Sita after 14 years of exile, ending with an across-the-seas war in which the whole of the kingdom of Lanka was destroyed.

On the day of Diwali festival, doorways are hung with torans of mango leaves and marigolds.
Rangolis are drawn with different colored powders to welcome guests. The traditional motifs are often linked with auspicious symbols of good luck. Oil diyas are arranged in and around the house. Because of these flickering lamps, the festival has acquired its name : Dipawali or Diwali meaning 'a rows of lamps'. On this day, people buy something for the house or some jewelry for the women of the house. It is auspicious to be buy something metallic, such as silver.
I made this Rangoli at home:

Whatever may be the fables and legends behind the celebrations of Diwali, all people exchange sweets, wear new clothes and buy jewelry at this festive time. Card parties are held in many homes. Diwali has become commercialized as the biggest annual consumer spree because every family shops for sweets, gifts and fireworks. However, in all this frenzy of shopping and eating, the steady, burning lamp is a constant symbol of an illuminated mind.
  Enjoyyyyyyy........
HAPPY  DIWALI  TO  ALL  MY  LOVELY  FRIENDS  ..........J J

My Favorite Poem:

My favorite poem - Friendship
So I come to the blog  and find that my favorite poems are not presented here... Will be posting some of my best ones. Below is my favorite one:D
Feel free to leave a comment.
A handsome came to me one day,
and asked me what I have to say,
regarding the most beautiful thing created,
one thing that I most highly rated.

The first thing that came to my mind was friendship,
the one thing that can be counted on during all hardship.
It’s one thing that’s closest to a person’s heart,
even if they r away, true friends can never be held apart.

A true friend is the most important treasure to cherish,
without him, it feels that u r going to perish.
U can pour out your heart in front of him,
and he’ll show u the way when everything is blur.

Will u be the person I can count on as a true friend?
I promise to stick by u until the very end.
Will u guard my closest secrets deeply as a precious gift?
and I’ll be there for u whenever u need an uplift.

Will u be my support when shaky I feel?
and I’ll be in between u and troubles like a wall of steel.
Will u be by me when my wounds won’t heal?
and if there’s need I’ll even starve myself to provide u a meal.

Oh please always be my friend, for I can’t stand losing u,
without u, there’s absolutely nothing I can ever do.
Don’t ever dare to utter those words – “good-bye”,
for something u say can cause someone to die.

Defination Of Friend:

A friend is someone you love and who loves you, someone you respect and who respects you, someone whom you trust and who trusts you. A friend is honest and makes you want to be honest, too. A friend is loyal.

A friend is someone who is happy to spend time with you doing absolutely nothing at all; someone who doesn't mind driving you on stupid errands, who will get up at midnight just because you want to go on an adventure, and who doesn’t have to talk to communicate with you.

A friend is someone who not only doesn't care if you're ugly or boring, but doesn't even think about it; someone who forgives you no matter what you do, and someone who tries to help you even when they don't know how. A friend is someone who tells you if you're being stupid, but who doesn't make you feel stupid.

A friend is someone who would sacrifice their life and happiness for you. A friend is someone who will come with you when you have to do boring things like watch bad recitals, go to stuffy parties, or wait in boring lobbies. You don't even think about who's talking or who's listening in a conversation with a friend.

A friend is someone for whom you're willing to change your opinions. A friend is someone you look forward to seeing and who looks forward to seeing you: someone you like so much, it doesn't matter if you share interests or traits. A friend is someone you like so much, you start to like the things they like.
A friend is a partner not a leader or a follower.
